![]() Shin is also very headstrong and courageous which is evident where he unhesitatingly challenges fierce enemies often ones that are much stronger than him (such as Sa Ji, Ma Ki, and to a much greater extent, Hou Ken, Rin Ko, and Ren Pa). His long days as a servant spent with Hyou made them inextricably linked and thus bring him up various times during his life. He is also capable of great rage when provoked by others, making him a deadly opponent to fight against. His hot temper also makes him clash with Ka Ryo Ten and they tend to bicker like siblings constantly back when they were younger. He also has in his possession General Ou Ki's Glaive and Duke Hyou's Shield entrusted to him at the time of their deaths which in turn was given to Ei Sei for safekeeping.Įxtremely hotheaded and brash but carries a heart of gold that holds an extreme amount of determination, Shin is fiercely loyal to his friends as shown when he vows to avenge Hyou, even at the risk of his own death. After the conclusion of the Gyou Campaign and his promotion to the rank of General, Shin changed and started to wear a long sleeve version of his blue Yue shirt underneath his armor but quickly went back to his old sleeveless look.Īlong with his blue Yue shirt, Shin has also consistently carried Ri Hyou's Sword that he inherited from his late best friend on his back. Shin retained this appearance over the course of four years all while on the battlefield up till the Battle of Shu Kai Plain where his armor's left pauldron was destroyed by one of the Dojaku captains from the Chou Ga Ryuu Army and his vicious duel with Hou Ken in which the Bushin utterly wracked his armor with every one of his strikes. Two years after the Coalition's Invasion, Shin slightly altered his armor with neck guard spikes oriented on his right pauldron as homage to the late Great General, Duke Hyou after being promoted to a 4000-man commander. he retained this appearance throughout his days as a 1000-man commander and 3000-man commander except for when he didn't have his bracers or wristbands on from the start like during encounter with Kou Yoku and Haku Rei, his reunion with Ri Boku and at the start of the Coalition Invasion Arc. And in the aftermath of arc, he officially started to wear armor composed of sky-blue colored scale mail, arm bracers designed with the clan markings of Kyou Kai's headband, and leather boots of the same color. However, by the start of the Sanyou Campaign Arc, he added on a pair of black wristbands to his attire. While fighting on the battlefield, Shin still retained his early peasant-like appearance despite buying himself armor after becoming a 100-man commander. And while he used to wear a pair of straw made sandals that gave him the appearance of a scraggy peasant to most people, he has since changed this to a pair of Qin style ju shoes and started to wear pants of white coloring that reach down his thighs after becoming a 1000-Man commander and occasionally wears his black wristbands. Ikkitousen spear girl series#In terms of casual clothing, the only attire that Shin consistently wears is a sleeveless blue Yue shirt fastened with a black cloth belt (or brownish depending on the art's coloring) throughout the early days of the series to now. By the time after General Ou Ki's death, Shin's hair grew slightly longer with his rat-tail now reaching his shoulders and becoming more muscular, and him growing taller but his appearance has largely remained unchanged. His facial features started out as somewhat soft, roundish but became more pronounced and slightly more muscular as he has gotten older. In the beginning of the series, Shin appeared as a thin but slightly muscled 14-year boy with hazel, slanted eyes and spiky brown (or blackish depending on the art's coloring) hair styled with a small rat-tail on the back at the start of the series. ![]()
